High Court drops terrorism charges against Lwakatare and Ludovick

The High Court of Tanzania dismissed terrorism charges against the Director of Defence and Security of Chama Cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA).Wilfred Muganyizi Lwakatare and one Ludovick Rwezahura Joseph.

Lwakatare was charged with an additional count of allowing his house to be used to promote terrorism.

They now remained with only one trial - conspiracy to commit offences of malicious administering poison and kidnapping.

Additional information indicate that the perpetrators are brought back in custody for bail was not designed.
