The apartment in which they were found is suspected to operate as a brothel. Police confiscated various items including cameras at the scene of the arrest.
The eleven women and a foreigner identified as a Swedish national were arrested in Nyali in Mombasa and arraigned in court yesterday.
The police boss noted that many ladies have turned into such acts for money. He confirmed that the camera was confiscated and will be used as evidence.
The Swedish national arrived in the country as a tourist days ago. The accused are scheduled to appear in court once again on Monday.
