"Men have a tendency to cheat":Pat Robertson

83-year-old TV evangelist, Pat Robertson says men have a tendency to cheat.Robertson told the wife of a cheating husband to get over the infidelity and provide a better home so he doesn't "wander."

He also added that its not men's fault they cheat because modern society is filled with so much temptation such as the internet ‘filled with pornography’ and magazine full of ‘salacious’ pictures.

Ivy,who was admittedly struggling with forgiveness wrote:

I've been trying to forgive my husband for cheating on me. We have gone to counseling, but I just can’t seem to forgive, nor can I trust. How do you let go of the anger? How do you trust again?.

And Pat Robertson replied......

Here’s the secret. Stop talking the cheating. He cheated on you, well, he’s a man.

Does he provide a home for you to live in? Does he provide food for you to eat? Does he provide clothes for you to wear? Is he nice to the children… Is he handsome?

Instead of focusing on the sin of adultery and the option for forgiveness,Robertson told Ivy to remind herself why she married her spouse and try to fall in love again.

Recognize also, like it or not, males have a tendency to wander a little bit. What you want to do is make a home so wonderful that he doesn't want to wander.

This isn't Robertson's first foray into marital counseling, earlier this year said if your husband isn't paying attention, it's probably because you don't look 'pretty' and 'alert'.

Robertson's advice provoked outrage not only from women but his fellow Christian leaders.
