Kelly Rowland admits to being envious of Beyonce's career in her new song

As Destiny's Child they stormed the music charts and sold millions of records around the world.

But it always seemed that Beyonce was the more prominent one in the group, somewhat overshadowing fellow members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.

That became even more evident when the group split up and went on to have solo careers.

Kelly Rowland wants the spotlight and a confessional is a good way to do it.

The R&B songstress has just dropped "Dirty Laundry," the aptly titled brand new single from her forthcoming album “Talk a Good Game.” In it, the 32-year-old admits to being envious of her former Destiny's Child bandmate, Beyoncé.

She also talks about being in an abusive relationship ― led by the touchingly spare piano ballad, the R&B jam spools into a dark confessional with Rowland singing about her abusive ex.

The song kicks off with soul-baring lyrics lamenting how Bey's superstardom overshadowed her own solo career and ends sadly,with a leering key,Love is pain,Pain is love!
