Do you buy stuffs because they are designers or they suit you well?

What do you look out for when buying clothes, bags, shoes but most especially clothes?Some people buy their clothes base on the fact that it fits them not minding how much it cost,much or less so far it has a perfect fitting on them.

Where as we have another category of people who buy their clothes base on they fact that they are designers and they don't care how expensive it is,how it would look on them,if its a color that would really complement their skin or it would look awful on them.

What do you look out for when buying your clothes.
