A huge explosion hits fertilizer plant in Texas, USA..at least 15 dead

A huge explosion at a fertilizer plant in West, Texas ignited a fire on Wednesday night. The blast, which measured 2.1 on the Richter scale, left the town looking like a war zone and sent a towering plume of toxic smoke into the sky threatening thousands with burns and suffocation.

Dozens of homes and buildings were destroyed. 15 people are feared dead, including 5 volunteer firefighters, 1 police officer and more than 100 people injured…while many people are feared trapped after the horrific blast.Continue reading and see more photos…

The full extent of the loss of life and damage is still being calculated.Rescuers still searching the smoking remnants and all gas supplies to the area have been stopped.
